NELSON, Audrey Catherine Beeghly, (Kitty), 57, of Rocky Mount, died Thursday, March 6, 1997 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1939, and was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie D. Beeghly and a granddaughter, Brittany. Kitty was a registered nurse and a faithful servant of the Lord. Surviving are her husband, Terry Nelson; one son, John Carr, Rocky Mount; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lee Anne and Jamie Hartberger, Rocky Mount, Christina and Richard Taylor, Boones Mill; four grandchildren, Jamie Aaron, Christopher, Julia, and Brianna; her father, Marvin Beeghly, Rocky Mount; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Bobby) and Ada Beeghly, Henry; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive; a special friend, Sue Joyce, and so many others; a special thanks to Gwen Stubbs and Darlene Law. Funeral services will be conducted from Faith Fellowship Church, 1 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Faith Fellowship Church for the Building Fund, 5185 Callaway Road, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
