August Buza, 315 Washington Avenue, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock at the Hansen clinic. He had been in ill health for the past four years. He entered the hospital late Saturday night and submitted to an operation early Sunday morning.

Mr. Buza was born on July 16, 1856, in Poland. He came to this country at the age of five with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Buza. They located on a farm in Polonia. His marriage to Miss Ann Kiedrowski took place at Polonia on January 26, 1880. They continued to live at Polonia and a year later moved to Jordan. They resided in Jordan for 29 years and then moved to Arnott where they lived for 17. Mr. Buza was engaged in farming all of his life until coming to Stevens Point eight years ago, when he retired.

Mr. Buza was a former chairman of the town of Hull and a former assessor of the same town. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Peter's church and of St. Stanislaus' of the Bishop society of St. Mary's church at Fancher.

Surviving are his wife and the following sons and daughters: George Buza and Mrs. Mary Milanowski of Stevens Point. Stanley Buza, Theodore Buza, Joe Buza and Mrs. Clements Zylka of Milwaukee, Mrs. Joe Cychosh of the town of Almond, Tom Buza of North Chicago, Leo Buza of Arnott, Frank Buza of Amherst and John Buza, whose address is unknown. There are also surviving a sister, Mrs. Minnie Somers of the town of Amherst, a brother. Andrew Buza of Custer, 70 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock at St. Peter's church. Interment will take place in Guardian Angel cemetery. The body will be at the Prais funeral home until Friday morning when it will be taken to the family home on Washington Avenue.

Funeral of Mr. Buza

Funeral services for August Buza, 315 Washington avenue, a Portage county resident most of his life, who died Wednesday morning, were held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock at St. Peter's church. Rev. Alois Trzebiatowski of Pound, grandson of Mr. Buza, officiated at the solemn requiem high mass and he was assisted by Rev. Edward B. Horyza, Rev. Joseph Tomczak and Rev. Hubert Woyak. Clergy present in the sanctuary were Rev. Victor Hoppa, Rev. Stanislaus Warzynski and Rev. Julius Chylinski. Interment took place in Guardian Angel cemetery.

The pallbearers were John Kedrowski, Frank Konopacki, John Miller, Thomas Domorus, Frank Waldock and Andrew Romanowski.

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Klein, Mrs. A. Guzman, Ted and Joe Buza, Jack Earles and Mary, Martha and Barney Cychosh of Milwaukee; Mrs. Anna Buza, Edmund and Felix Buza and Stanley, Victoria and Anna Trzebiatowski of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Buza and family of Arnott; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Buza and family and Walter Konkol of Amherst; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cychosh and family of Almond and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Buza of Custer. Other relatives and friends from Fancher, Polonia, Custer and Amherst also attended.
