About Aurèle Joseph Laflamme
DEXTER - Aurele J. Laflamme, 87, husband of Marguerite (Fournier) Laflamme, died May 23, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born October 7, 1914 at St. Anastasie, Quebec, Canada, a son of Alfred and Mary Louise (Mercier) Laflamme. He was a dairy farmer in Exeter for many years, moving to Dexter after retiring. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Aurele will be remembered as an avid golfer. In addition to his wife of 64 years, he leaves one daughter Helena, and son-in-law, Thomas Ronco of Dexter; 2 grand-daughters, Sandra and husband Elery Beale of Chelsea, and Suzanne and husband Michael Orcutt of Ballston Spa, New York; three great grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Sara all of Ballston Spa, New York; one brother, Raoul of Bangor; three sisters, Arline Gilley of Bath, Rita Ward of Newburg, and Claire Brown of New Port Richey, Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends called May 27 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 28th, at St. Anne's Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
