Funeral services for Mrs. Ava Gillihan was held this afternoon at the Christian Church in Kiefer [Oklahoma] and burial was made in the South Heights Cemetery with the Lewis and Landrith funeral directors of this city in charge. Mrs. Gillihan died Monday [March 31, 1930] morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Dora Cooper, at Kiefer. She was 73 years of age and is survived by her husband W. R. Gillihan, four sons, two daughters, also several grandchildren.
