THERE are more Blochs in the 1850 census. Page 268, entries 226 and 227. Shmuel son of Yitzchak Bloch. Leib son of Shmuel Bloch. (I checked from pages. 140-309 Check earlier and later for other entries)

Would have died before 1864 (~1863 his grandson Avraham Aryeh is born, who would have taken his name after his grandfather's death)
