About Barbara Diane Odom
Mrs. Barbara Diane Odom, 61, of Easley, loving wife of Norman Allen Odom, died February 9, 2010. Born in Concord, NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Berthonia Roberts Franklin. Mrs. Odom was the valedictorian of Pickens High School Class of 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was the founding leader of the Golden Bells. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Tony Allen Odom; a granddaughter, Haley Diane Odom, both of Easley; sisters, Eloise "Deddie" Drummond, Elizabeth Elrod, and Patsy Ladd, all of Greenville. She was predeceased by a brother, Talmadge Derek Franklin. Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church, with burial following at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home.
