Gravestones for Barnet and his wife Barbara are presently underneath the "new wing" of the Harmony Presbyterian Church.
In Barnet's will, he adds to the bottom of his will as an addition the following paragraph:
I, Barnet DeWitt, do devise and declare in addition to my last will and testament as aforesaid that my executors as above named in addition to the ordinary funeral expenses of myself and my wife Barbara, shall erect gravestones with suitable inscriptions at the graves of myself and said wife, the expense thereof to be deducted from my person estate.
Witnesses were Abraham DeWitt, Mattthew/Mathias Brakeley and John Stryker.
In his will be mentions his children, sons, Barnet, Esseck, George, daughters, Jane married to James Youmans, Elizabeth married to Samuel Youmans, Margaret married to George Heitzman, Sarah married to William Fine, Magdalena married to William Davison and Mary married to Richard Mackey and Eleanor Winter.
