BENJAMIN CRANE (1630-1702) 4. ELINOR BRECK (1632-1717)

BENJAMIN CRANE was born about 1630, of Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts, to unknown parents. He married Elinor Breck 12 Sep 1656, Sherborn, Middlesex, Massachusetts.

Living perhaps in 1641 in Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts with Mr. Howard. He moved to Dorchester, Massachusetts. He lived intermittently between 1642-52: Maspeth, Putnam, and New York. Lived in Medfield, Norfolk, Massachusetts in 1649. He sold land there in 1651/52. Moved to Flushing, Queens, New York. He pthen inherited land in Sherborn, Middlesex, Massachusetts at the death of his father-in-law, John Breck in 1660. In 1664 they bought land in Sudbury, Massachusetts. In 1683, they were granted land in Stow, Massachusetts. In 1694 he conveyed his farm in Stow to his daughter, Mehitable Crane Randall, and Stephen Randall. He was an Anabaptist 1641-52.

Benjamin Crane died about 1702, of Stow, Middlesex, Massachusetts, at about 72 years of age.

3.Elinor Breck was born 1 November 1632, in Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, to John Breck (1602-1660) and unknown mother. She married Benjamin Crane 12 September 1656 in Stow, Middlesex, Massachusetts. She passed away 8 July 1717, in Stow Middlesex, Massachusetts, at the age of 85.
