"B.J. Williams died at his residence near Cedar Rock, SC last Monday. He was about 75 years old and was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Williams leaves a wife and several children. (Benjamin Josiah Williams, born 3 Aug 1822, died 13 Feb. 1899, buried Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery--Pickens County, SC Cemetery Survey, Vol 1, p 118)."
