Biography

Benjamin Thibodeau was born on September 20, 1721 in Acadia. He married Elisabeth Thibodeau in Acadia about 1746. Witnesses: de GOUTIN; Claude THIBODEAU; PONTIF (who have signed with the groom). (Also in Tanguay, vol. VI, pp. 290-29 1.)

He married 2nd at Port-Royal on 21 Jun 1752 to Marguerite Lanoue, daughter of Charles & Marie Landry.
