When his son Aaron Jackson marries Esther Jackson (first cousin) in 1908 in Dublin. Aaron gives his father's name as Bannis and occupation farmer. In 1918 when his son George marries he gives his father's name as Bennet(?) and occupation as draper. George states in 1918 that his father is deceased. When daughter Olga marries David Freeman in 1919 she also states her father is deceased and gives his name as Barney, occupation peddler. When Olga and David have a son in 1920 in SA they name him Bannis. When his daughter Annie b 1902 marries in 1932 she gives her father's name as Benjamin and occupation merchant.
