Bep Loeb was very much instrumental in the survival of her husband and my father and their release from Westerbork. Due to her contacts in The Hague they were practically pulled from the train to Auschwitz. Robert Loeb was born 2 months and three days after me and our mothers shared feeding duties to the two of us, when one was on a food acquisition trip, sometimes several days into the Country, to obtain something to eat and riding on bycicles with wooden tires.
