From the visitation of Warwick, 1563 it is recorded that John and Adrian Rogers had eleven children, thus given:

"6. Bernard Fitz Rogers, was born 1543 at Wittenburg, Saxony-Anhault, Deutschland, married Mary abt 1564 at Scotland, moved from Scotland to England and died in 1583.

Barnard's children were:

Bernard Rogers was educated in Germany and returned to England,crossing over into Scotland where he resided for a time, and married there about 1564. His known issue was Thomas Mathew Rogers called after the "nom de plume" used by the martyr in publishing the "Byble".

◦Capt. William Clark of the Lewis & Clark Expedition and Gen. George Rogers Clark are descendants. Bernard and his brothers and sisters were forced to watch the execution of their father. Bernard was educated in Germany and moved to Scotland.
