Services for Bernice T. Berry will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville,

with Dr. Henry Blount officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Esler Field.

Berry, 88, of Alexandria died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, in Oaks Care Center, Pineville.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Alexandria and a home-maker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Robert Berry; and parents, Yancy Eugene

Tillman and Gertrude Toney Tillman.

Survivors include one son, Steve E. Berry of Pineville; one daughter, Beth Berry-Laurella of

Savannah, Ga.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Chad S. Berry, Troy D. Conkle, Billy Craig, Joe Laurella, Larry B. Minton and

Fred O. Moore.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
