Bertha Lapuk

Meyer Mazer's nephew William Mazer recalled Meyer had a daughter "Bertie". A January 1 1920 census record from Brooklyn New York found on ancestry.com shows a "Meyer" Mazer who was 43 at the time and a salesman for a paper company, with wife Pauline (age 44) and daughters Lena (19), Bertha (17), Rose (14), Martha (12), Francis (10) and Mildred (8). A June 1 1925 census record from Brooklyn, also found on ancestry.com, shows a 49-year-old Meyer Mazer married to a 50-year-old Pauline Mazer, which children Bertha (22), Cora (20), Martha (18), Francis (16), Mildred (14).

William Mazer recalled her as the youngest of Meyer's seven daughters, and that she married late and had no children. Given the record above, it's possible he confused her with Mildred.
