Bessie (Carroll) Longino

Obituary:

Bessie Carroll Longino, 71, of Live Oak, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2004 after a lengthy bout with Cancer at the home of her of daughter. She was born October 5, 1933 to Arthur and Bertie Carroll, graduated from Swannee High in 1951 and retired from American Heritage as a full charge bookkeeper. Mrs. Longino was returned to the family farm in 1992 after the death of her brother, Ralph Carroll. She had a deep love of a nature and a green thumb for growing plants. Gardening was a passion and one that she was very good at. Her beautiful smile will be missed but not forgotten by her family and many friends. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law: Sheila and Richard Soltau, Orange Park, two sons: Jim Longino, Live Oak, FL and Randy Longino Traverse City, MI; two grandsons: Scott (Amanda) Saltau and Steven Soltau and Fiance, Michelle Owens; sister: Lessie Reischman; six nieces and nephew and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM We dnesday, December 15, 2004 at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak, with Rev. Bob Barton officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.
