Abram (age 30) and Dora (age 30) and their 2 children Lesiuk (age 2) and Persere (infant) arrived at the Halifax harbour on February 13,1910 aboard the SS Tunisian, having sailed from the port of Liverpool on February 4, 1910. Their destination was to Sydney, Cape Breton to a cousin.
On the 1911 Canadian census Abram and Dora are living on Union Street in district 40 of Cape Breton South, sub district 2, in the town of Glace Bay. The household consists of Abram (now miraculously age 28) Dora (now age 27) and their children Louis (age 4), Bessie (age 2) and a 3 month old daughter (name not clear - possibly Mamie) and also Mrs. Rosie Magonet, widow, age 80 - who is listed as having immigrated in 1895. Abram and Dora's immigration year is incorrectly listed as 1909.
