About Bessie Nouwens
Obituary Bessie Nouwens, age 79, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 1979. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Nouwens moved with her family to Denver and then to Whatcom County, where she had resided for the past 65 years. A member of the Second Christian Reformed church of Lynden, has also been a member of the Bellingham Senior Citizens Activity Center.
She was married to her husband, Adrian in Lynden on April 14, 1927.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Second Christian Reformed Church, with Rev. Andrew Cammenga officiating. Burial will follow in Monumenta Cemetery, under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home.
