ROSENBAUM, BESSIE PEMBERTON,

Bessie Pemberton Rosenbaum, 88, of Elgin, died Monday, Dec. 25, 1989, in the Scott County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joe Rosenbaum, and was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ernest N. Ward, and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Shirleen and Junior Ward of Sunbright and Colleen and Arthur Haire of Muncie, Ind.; sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Katie Rosenbaum of Yorktown, Ind., and Bernard Rosenbaum of Muncie, Ind., eight grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews and special friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 28, at 1:00 p.m. at the Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Sunbright, with the Rev. Kelly Sexton officiating. Singers were Harry McCarty, Wayne Shoemaker and Gladys Miller. Interment followed in the Webb cemetery, Scott County, with Schuberts of Wartburg in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were Harry McCarty, Doug Bertram, Hershel Norman, Mike Norman, Ray Shoemaker and Wayne Shoemaker. (Morgan County News, 1/14/1990, p2)
