Bethenia married Jourdan Bass May 11, 1790, in Franklin County, North Carolina. They moved to Talladega County, Alabama, where Jourdan died Nov. 12, 1841.
Bethenia and Jourdan are the parents of Elijah (married Susannah), John (married Mary), Sally (married James Gatlin), Nancy (married Riley Jordan Pierce), Cinthia (married Henry Little), Rebecca (married William Riley), Anna (married Robert Northcutt) and Willis Leland (married Elizabeth Miles, Elizabeth Lillian Hardin and Martha Louisa Click).
Bethenia moved to Texas with her sons John and Willis. She lived on Willis' cotton plantation until her death.
