Betsy Ann married William Canterberry(bury) and moved to Sevier County, Tennessee. Ordered copy of marriage record from Montgomery County, Virginia. It shows William Canterberry and Thomas Mallet swearing alligency to the Gov. of Virginia the 3rd day of August 1789 and paying $50.00 pounds current money to obtain a licence for his marriage with Betty Ann Lawson, daughter of William Lawson of this county. It is signed by William Canterberry and Thomas Mallet, test Abram Tripp.
