Betsy Lovering

The inscription on the headstone reads:

Since God to take our child thought fit,

We'll be content to part with it;

Because we know his heavenly grace,

Will fit her for a better place.

Quick did the wings of inocence convey

Her sprightly soul to an imortal day;

Let not her friends lament her early fate,

She's gone with Christ to a most blisful state.

She died the 22nd day of Febr 1833

in the 5th Year of her Age.

died May the 1st 1843 Aged 18 Months

Also Elizabeth Lovering Second of the

above named who died Febr 21 1849 aged

1 year & 11 Months.

Also John Eldest Son of the above

who was Unfortunately drowned on

the 9 day of April 1849 aged 13 years

Also of Thomas Lovering Brother

to the above who died Octr 15 1849

aged 5 years.
