About Betty Irene Fisher Kildow
KILDOW BETTY I. Of Whitehall, peacefully in the Baptist Homes on Monday, December 5, 2011. Wife of Andrew D. Kildow and the late Harold Fisher; sister of Lois Siemon. Betty worked at the Heinz Plant during WWII building wings for gliders used during D-Day. She continued her career as a Bell Telephone Operator after the war, then as a medical assistant in a doctor's office. Betty was also a well known water color artist in Pgh., and a long standing member of the Pgh. Water Color Society. She enjoyed teaching ice skating in Monroeville and spent the last 20 years as an avid ballroom dancer. There will be no public visitation. Services were held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC.
