Betty Home was born in 1751.
She was in residence at Abbeygreen House, Abbeygreen, Jedburgh, Roxburghshire when her son Ob. Major John MURRAY returned from the Peninsula Wars on half pay.
She died in Abbeygreen House, Abbeygreen, Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland on the 14th January 1819.
She is buried in the churchyard of Jedburgh Abbey in a grave not far from that of her son who is buried in grave no. 119.
