Bishop. D. Altino Ribeiro de Sant'Ana, (Bishop at Angola & Moçambique.)

Born on the 19 October 1915 in Porvorim (Socorro), Bardez, Goa, Antigo Estado Português da Índia, was a professor in the Rachol Seminary in Goa and also military Chaplain in Goa. Was made Bishop in the Se Cathedral of Goa, on the 23 October 1955 and appointed Bishop of Sa da Bandeira, in the Angola Province of Portugal. Later was transferred to the diocese of Beira, Portuguese province of Mozambique where he died on 27th February 1973. The people of Sa da Bandeira requested that his body be translated from Beira to Sa da Bandeira and the request was granted. His mortal remains can be found in Sa da Bandeira, today called Lubango, in Angola which achieved independence from Portugal in 1975.
