Blanche Emma, daughter of Geo. and Flora Bohl, was born in Allen County Kansas on March 21, 1877 passed away on December 31 1954 in Elkhart, Kansa at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 10 days.

In the early years of her life, she gave her heart to God and lived a faithful Christian life. At the age of 15, she came to Baca County, Colorado. On June 21, 1897, she was united in marriage to Samuel Bryan in Springfield, Colorado. To this union were born 4 sons and 10 daughters, two of whom died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death on December 10, 1934.

Left to mourn her passing are Bertha Stowers, Compton, Calif.; Wanda Spikes, Hogoton, Kansas; Bessie Florey, Colorado Springs; Roscoe Bryan and Vernon Bryan of the rural Walsh home; Verna Florey of Konantz, Colorado; Emma Lease of Tiler, Oregon; Mayme Krisle of Fowler, Kansas; Beulah Ames of Maupin; Beatrice McCole of Compton, Calif.; Gene Twyford of Stafford, Kans.

Eighteen grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and one sister. The three brothers, Percy Bohl of Walsh, Harry Bohl of California, and Chester bohl of Littleton, Colo. Many nephews and nieces.

The funeral was held in the Methodist church with Rev. Enmans Ringle presiding. Singers were Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Hargrove, Ida Mae Herbert ad Al Lusier. Organist was Phyllis Robson. Songs were Old Rugged Cross, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere, and Peace in the Valley.

Interment was in the konantz Cemetery beside her husband. All twelve of her living children and also all three brothers and her sister attended the funeral. Many came from distant places.
