Bonnie Sanders, 43, of Hardeeville, S.C., died last Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center, Savannah after a long illness.
He was a native of Lyons and a member of Lyons United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the Navy. He was employed at Union Camp Paper Corp. in the power department and was a member of Electrical Workers Local 1391.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Faye Anderson Sanders of Hardeeville; four sons, Glenn Sanders of Charleston, S.C., Miles, Reid and Lance Sanders, all of Hardeeville; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Sanders, Lyons; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Newton, Lyons; a half sister, Mrs. Edna Hatcher, Soperton; three half brothers, J.M. Sanders, Hardeeville, S.C., R. Gene Sanders, Soperton, J.H. Sanders, Jr., Knoxville, Tenn.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
