Bridget Hennessey was born in Ireland in 1841 to John and Catherine Hennessey. She emigrated to the US in 1855.
Bridget Hennessey, 26, daughter of John and Catherine Hennessey of Ireland, married James Maloney, 25, son of Patrick and Margaret Maloney of Troy, NY, on February 27, 1867 in Providence, Rhode Island. Daniel Kelley, RC pastor, presided. Both Bridget and James were Providence residents, and James' occupation was gunsmith.

The June 18,1870 Census for Providence lists Annie Rourke, seamstress(30?), living with Bridget Maloney (her sister)(25?), and Thomas (9) and Katie (11) both at school. Both women were born in Ireland and appear to be widowed.
The Jan 6th 1920 Census lists Bridget Maloney(80) living at 335 Williams St Providence with sister Ellen E. Coutanche (70) and sister's husband John E Coutanche (69) undertaker with own office. Also listed are single Coutanche daughters Mary (39) timekeeper R.R. office; Genevieve (37) clerk R.R. office; and Angela (24) clerk in lawyers office. Bridget's year of immigration from Ireland was 1855, Ellen's was 1872 and her naturalization was 1900. John Coutanche immigrated from Canada in 1873 and was naturalized in 1900.
