Buela Clanton

"The present Beulah Baptist Church near Pembroke, Bryan Co. Georgia was named after the daughter of the first Reverend, Henry Leland Hamilton. Beulah Hamilton was born on 4 Feb, 1880 just 6 months prior to the dedication and calling of her Father on 25 July 1880. The congregation has remained small and the building has retained it early integrity. The Beulah Church cemetery is located behind the building. However, Reverend Henry Leland Hamilton and his wife, Cynthia, are not buried here. They are buried in Lower Black Creek Cemetery that is close to where they lived in Ellabell, Bryan Co. Georgia."
