Burdella Stuckey Carl, 94, died Thursday at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. Mrs. Carl was born Feb. 25, 1894, in Louisville, Ohio, to Hiram & Emma Culler Stuckey, and lived in this area all of her life. A graduate of Louisville High School, she attended Mount Union College, and formerly taught in Nimishillen Township. Mrs. Carl was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir, and served as president of several organizations. She was a life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Mrs. Carl had also been a member of the Alliance Women's Club since 1926, serving as a direcdtor for six years. She was a life member of the Alliance Garden Club. A member of Order of the Eastern Star since 1920, she was a past president of OES District 13, a member of Chapter 296, and a charter membero f Amaranth, and served as deputy grand matron of the Grand Chapter of Ohio in 1944.
