The Late Mr. S. Lumley.— Although he had suffered from indifferent health for some considerable time past, the death occurred with tragic suddenness early on Tuesday evening of Mr. Samuel Lumley at his home in Gregory Street. The deceased had been engaged in his normal activities associated with his employment in the Railway Department during the day and when he laid down to rest, shortly alter his return to his home, he was overcome by a sudden seizure, from which he failed to rally, and he died shortly afterwards. The late Mr. Lumley was born at Oldham, Lancashire (England) fifty-five years ago, and arrived in the State twenty-eight years ago. For very many years he had resided in Geraldton. Of a quiet and retiring nature, the deceased found his main interests in his home. He leaves a wife, six sons and one daughter to mourn his loss. The funeral was held in the Roman Catholic portion of the Utakarra cemetery this afternoon.
