Caleb Bobbitt was one of the participants in a business venture between himself, Greenberry George McKenzie & Thomas Blair for the construction of an Iron Furnace & development at Popular Camp, Wythe County, VA. [The transaction was discussed in the New River Notes at the URL listed below.]
Caleb died on June 12, 1830 and is buried in the Old Bobbitt Cemetery, Pulaski County, VA.
