Md. Apr 30,1723 Judith Bellows B. 1705 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA. Children; Jonas Moore B.Oct 6,1725 Fairbank Moore B.July 25,1728 William Moore B.Jan 17,1731, Abner Moore B.1730 and Benjamin Moore B.July 30,1733-D.Mar 6,1758. Fairbanks and son Benjamin were killed by Indians.

Fairbanks and Benjamin Moore, buried by the side of their log-house/bones believed to have been theirs were found in Mr Allen's barn yard and moved to the nearest cemetery in a unknown grave.

NEAR THIS SPOT STOOD THE ARMS TAVERN, OFT(en) THE RENDEZVOUS OF COL. ETHAN ALLEN AND GREEN MOUNTAIN BOYS DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. KEPT BY MAJOR ARMS, LATER BY HIS WIDOW SUSANNAH AND SON JOSIAH.
HERE MARCH 1758 CAPT. FAIRBANK MOOR AND SON WERE KILLED AND SCALPED BY INDIANS. THE WIFE AND CHILDREN OF THE LATTER WERE TAKEN CAPTIVES TO CANADA.
