GEDCOM Note

Daniel Hyde went to Stratford. He and his wife, Deborah Perry are buried in Huntington Burying Place. Daniel Hyde was Lieutenant of the Ripton Parish Train Band (Militia) from Oct. 1750 to May 1752 and was Captain from May 1752 to Oct 1754. Ripton was a village in the northern part of the town of Stratford. In 1789 the parishes of Ripton and New Stratford were combined and named Hunington Township.
