Son of Percy A. and Alice R. Bath, of Oakville, Ont. Cox & Cos. POW list states E. O. Bath was reported missing on 28 April 1915, he was interned in Holland from 19 March 1918 and repatriated to the UK, arriving on 1 November 1918. Capt. Bath was Mentioned in Dispatches, gazette date 30 January 1920. The wording of the Gazette includes the following: "for gallant conduct and determination displayed in escaping or attempting to escape from captivity".
