About Captain Jonathan Thing, II

On 26 Jul 1677, Jonathan married his first wife Mary Gilman (1658-1691) in Exeter. Then he married a second time to Martha Denison Wiggins in 1693. Following Jonathan's death in 1694, Martha remarried to Matthew Whipple in 1697. On 15 Jul 1677 Jonathan Thing "made an open profession of his faith in his church and entered into covenant with god and his church by a church vote and was baptized" in Hampton, New Hampshire.[1]

On 26 Jul 1677, Jonathan married his first wife Mary Gilman (1658-1691) in Exeter. Then he married a second time to Martha Denison Wiggins in 1693. Following Jonathan's death in 1694, Martha remarried to Matthew Whipple in 1697. On 15 Jul 1677 Jonathan Thing "made an open profession of his faith in his church and entered into covenant with god and his church by a church vote and was baptized" in Hampton, New Hampshire.[1]
