Carey Dale Irvin

Carey Dale Irvin, 47, of Arkansas City died Thursday, August 28, 2003 at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center in Arkansas City.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the funeral home.

Carey was born October 31, 1955 to Claudie C. & Arlene V. (Clark) Irvin in Hobart, OK. He attended Winfield High School.

Carey was an oil field worker for Sonic Exploration and Western Geo Inc.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie N. Irvin of Oklahoma City; son, Tyler D. Irvin of Tulsa, OK; mother, Arlene Irvin of South Haven, MS; five sisters, Shirley Goulden and Karen Phillips both of Arkansas City, Donna Lachina and Beverly McKenna both of Memphis, TN and Susie Conner of Youngstown, OH; brother, Jeffrey Irvin of Arkansas City; granddaughter, Mallory N. Fortune and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Carey was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial has been established with the Carey D. Irvin Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
