ALBERT LUTZE, 61, DIES TODAY
Cleveland Man Operated Garage For Many Years
Albert Lutze, 61, well known Cleveland garage owner, died at 9:45 this morning at the Memorial hospital in Sheboygan, where he had been a patient for the past eight days. Mr. Lutze had been ailing for some time.

He was born in the town of Centerville in 1874, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lutze, Sr., one of a family of seven children. He made his home at Centerville township all of his life. For a number of years he operated the garage in Cleveland. His father died about eight years ago.

Survivors include his widow, the former Alvina Bull, his mother, Mrs. Edward Lutze of Cleveland; a son, Elmer, and a daughter, Marie, both of Cleveland; three brothers, Edward and Oscar C. of Cleveland and John of Meeme; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Rieck of Manitowoc, Mrs. David Lorfeld of Cleveland and Mrs. John Lorfeld of Cleveland; and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the St. Peter and St. John Lutheran church of Cleveland.

Cleveland – Albert J. Lutze, 61, died Friday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient the past week. Mr. Lutze was born Aug. 21, 1874 in the town of Centerville. On Dec. 21, 1899 he was united in marriage to Alvina Bull and the couple made their home here. Mr. Lutze was proprietor of the Albert Lutze and Son garage and was also a caretaker of Saxon Cemetery. He was a member of the Lutheran Aid society and the Loyal Order of Moose.

Besides his widow, Mr. Lutze is survived by a daughter, Marie, at home and a son, Elmer of Cleveland; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Lutze, aged 86, three brothers, Edward of Cleveland, John of Newton, route 1, Oscar C. Lutze of Cleveland; three sisters, Mrs. Joan Lorfeld, Mrs. David Lorfeld and Mrs. Arthur Rieck and two grandchildren, Helen and Irene Lutze. A daughter Margaret died May 26, 1931.
