"Granny" Carol Ford Lovan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 15th at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, with Pastor Jim Shelburne of Washington Avenue Christian Church. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S.
Georgia.

Carol was born July 11, 1933 in Amarillo to Geraldine and William Ford. She grew up in Vega and Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951. She was a member of WACC for 60 years. She married Jack T. Williams in October 1952 and married Joe Lovan on April 20, 1973.

Carol was known for her beautiful smile and laughter. She loved the mountains and loved to go camping. She also adored her grandchildren and was a wonderful "Granny." She is celebrating her birthday today, July 11th in heaven. The family would like to thank Interim Hospice for their love and support.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Ford; and her husband, Joe.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Hernandez and husband, Luis; two grandchildren, Brianna and C.J.; three step-granddaughters, Adrianna Hernandez, Dominique Campbell and husband, Andrew, and Shelley Pennington and husband, Phil of Collinsville, OK; a step-grandson, Raymond Klahr and wife, Dana of Collingsville, OK; two great grandsons and a great granddaughter of Collinsville, OK; a sister, Ilona and husband, Ed Wheeler of Raton, NM; a cousin, Myrna Tompkins of Amarillo; and also survived by a very special friend, "PaPa" Jim Johnson.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14th at the funeral home.
