Carolyn J. Sigler

Carolyn J. Sigler, 89, of Wooster went to be with the Lord at the Wayne County Care Center on Monday, May 23, 2022.

She was born November 29, 1932 to the late Dorothy Snyder Hill and Pastor Paul Snyder. Carolyn worked as a Teacher’s Aide in the Wooster City Schools. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting mittens and stocking hats for missions and baking cookies to share with her family, friends and shut-ins. Carolyn was a member at Church of the Savior and enjoyed their weekly Bible study.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Mike Sigler (Brenda) of Rock Hill, SC; daughter Elaine Steigerwalt (Steve) of Madison, AL; son Rob Sigler of Dalton, OH; sister Sally Yoder (Dick); sister Dotty Jordan (John, deceased). She had nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in her death by her husband Donald R. Sigler; daughter Linda S. Smith; and both her parents.

Memorial services will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 2:00pm at Church of the Savior, 480 Fry Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is honored to serve the family.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Wayne County Care Center staff and medical team for their attentive care, compassion and friendship for Carolyn during her stay. Also, a special thank you to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care for making Carolyn comfortable during her final days.
