SHARPS CHAPEL, Tenn. – Carrie L. L’Heureux, 52, of Knoxville, Tenn. and formerly of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Tuesday July 11, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Sharps Chapel, Tenn.
She was born in Van Buren on April 1, 1954, the daughter of Leo James and Winifred (Leblanc) Cyr and had been a resident of this community for 21 years before moving to Tennessee.
She was proud of the fact that she obtained her Associates Brokers License. She was employed as a land consultant with Tennessee Landpartners LLC.
Carrie, with her warm smile, hearty laugh and fun personality could make your darkest day brighten up instantly. She had enough energy and heart to make everyone that was around her feel as though she was their best friend. She made sure everyone was included. She was a very proud woman who had lots of class. She was fun. We will all miss our best friend.
She was a member of Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her mother, Winifred Cyr of Lewiston; her longtime companion, David Longhi of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sons, Adam Dorman and his wife, Jennifer, of Sabattus, Ryan Dorman of Lewiston and Peter L’Heureux of Lewiston; one grandchild, Isaha L’Heureux of Lewiston; two brothers, Elmer Cyr and his wife, Rita, of Lisbon Falls and James Cyr and his wife, Nana, of Denver, Colo.; seven sisters, Leola Mauri of Gahanna, Ohio, Carlene Martin of Fort Kent, Thelma Diphillippo and her husband, Anthony, of Portland, Loraine Fennessy and her husband, James, of Lewiston, Sandra Cyr and her husband, Martin, of Augusta, Joan Welch and her husband, David, of Wilbraham, Mass. and Donna Dionne of Kittery; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Leo James Cyr; and four brothers, Philip, Donald, David and Daniel Cyr.
