Carrie Staines was the daughter of John T. and Susanna (Haysmer) Staines.
Carrie was a teacher before becoming a physician. She married Will Kellogg January 1, 1918 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Will was founder of the Kellogg cereal company. Carrie was a women physician on the staff of Dr. John Harvey Kellogg's Battle Creek Sanitarium. (John was Will's older brother).
Carrie and Will had no children.
