Carrie evidently remarried between 1911 and her death in 1918 in Muscogee County, GA. The death certificate names her as Carrie Baker, daughter of John Tillman and Rebecca Oaks. I located a marriage announcement in The Columbus Ledger, Vol. XXV, Issue 111, p.3, Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1912:"Mr. James Baker and Mrs. Carrie McCune were united in marriage yesterday at the home of he bride, 1013 Patten Avenue, in the presence of a few friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.W. Howard."

Death certificate #1218 states that Carrie died of pellagra, which is a niacin deficiency common in the South during the early 1900s per Wikipedia. The certificate states she's a widow and worked as a mill operator.

1918 Columbus GA city directory states Carrie M McCune (wid James), mill opr, h 2926 2nd Ave. Frank and William (USA) are listed as boarders in her home, but GF Willie H. McCune was overseas in France, WWI. I believe Frank may have served too.

Carrie's birth date was given on censuses as 26 Jan 1873. However, her brother Frank's birth is given as Feb. 1873 consistently in all records on him so Carrie's date is incorrect. Her death certificate states "unknown" for birth date, but the age on the certificate is 47, making her year of birth 1871. I'm assuming it's 1871 or 1872.

1880 census - age 8

1900 census - age 27

1910 census - age 37

1918 - age 47
