Catharine E. Rose

Her tombstone is in the burying ground of the Peter Dietz farm on private property of the owners of 2032 Helderberg Trail (State Rte. 443) between the hamlets of Berne and West Berne. It is in a cluster of hemlocks on a knoll above the bank of Fox Creek, behind and just east of the barn opposite the house 250 yards west of Rte. 44 just beyond pasture fence. Owner (1984): Revee Descartes. Peter Dietz was her uncle. The stone reads:
