About Catherina Susanna Smith

Ouma Tienie was known for her strong religious beliefs and commanded deep respect from her children and grandchildren. She was reported by her granddaughter Cecilia Jacoba to have asked the score of an SA England cricket test from her death bed.

Her grandson, Stephen Myburgh recalls visiting her home in Kimberley and had such respect for her that even greeting her was an event.
