Catherine Elizabeth Fite

Catherine Elizabeth Cunningham was born in 1728 in Saxony,Germany.Her father was William Cunningham a Scottish nobleman to some degree.She met and fell in love with Johannes Vogt they ran off and got married in America and had nine children.When they landed in America the clerks didn't speak German so they spelled the name the way it sounded the name became Fite.She died in the year of our lord 1787 in Greenwich township Sussex County,New Jersey Sussix county has been renamed Cumberland County.For more details about her visit Johannes Fite's grave on find a grave.
