We do not know if the first four married or not and we do not know the names of their spouses We do know that Doswell and Thomas were married and the names of their issue.


She is listed in her grandmothers will.

"Will of Elizabeth [BOOTH] Nutting, of the Parish of Charles, in the county of York, widow, being very aged and infirm, to Grandson, Robert ARMISTEAD, son of Robert ARMISTEAD and Catherine, his wife, the tract of land where she now lives; legacies to Booth ARMISTEAD, [legacies] to Elizabeth ROGERS, daughter of Adduston ROGERS and Catherine, his wife; to grandson William LOWRY; granddaughter Angelica ARMISTEAD. to Robert ARMISTEAD, my grandson, aforesaid, her silver tankard; granddaughter Elizabeth Goodwin [GOODWIN is her married name as illustrated by bequests to her grandchildren and great grandchildren]; my sealskin trunk; [and to each of] her grandchildren and great grandchildren under 14 years 20 shillings to be paid in current money; Except my grandson, Richard Sclater, to whom I give my half pint silver can; grandsons, Thomas DOSWELL, Edward DOSWELL; granddaughter, Elizabeth MOORE; to youngest son lately born of William LOWRY & Jane [LOWRY], her maiden name]], his wife, ON CONDITION HE BE CHRISTENED THOMAS NUTTING [LOWRY], Otherwise I give the can to grandson, Booth ARMISTEAD. all residue of estate to daughter, Catherine ARMISTEAD for the benefit of her three children: Booth, Robert and Angelica. To Frances ARMISTEAD, daughter of Ellyson ARMISTEAD, 20 S. to buy her a ring. to Elizabeth Lowry, my Negro boy called James. Catherine ARMISTEAD, sole executor. Adduston Rogers, Jr. was the son of Adduston Rogers, Sr. and Catherine Doswell. He was born 26 April 1731 according to the Charles Parish Records in York Co. VA by Landon C. Bell. Adduston Rogers, Jr. is NOT the father of Doswell Rogers who was born in 1736.
