Catherine Sharington

Born to William Pyrton of Little Bentley in Essex, and his wife Margaret Salford, Catherine Pyrton was the sister and heir of Sir John Pyrton of Essex; died before him.

She married Thomas Sharington, Esq., his will dated 15 Oct 1519, then of Cranworth, proved Jan. 12, 1529. He was the son of Thomas Sharington (d 2 May 1495) & Elizabeth. They had 5 sons and 5 daughters.

Sons: William, Thomas, Henry, John, Anthony.

Daughters: Elizabeth, Anne, Cecilia, Ursula, Olivia.
