Cecilius Calvert, sixth son of Capt. George (1774-1821) and Lydia Beck Ralls Calvert (1749-c1830), was born June 29, 1791, in Culpeper County, Va. He lived in Bourbon County, Ky. and later moved to Bedford, Ky. He married c1814, Penelope Reno (1795-1886), daughter of Revolutionary War soldier Zealy (1757-1837) and Mary Chinn Reno (1753-1839), of Bourbon County. Of their eleven children, Malvinia (1816-) married Louis Kiper; Mildred (1818-) married Kiper; Jane Pope (1819-); Benjamin Franklin (1821-1900); Cecilius, Jr. (1822-); Amanda (c1823-); Mary Peck (1814-53) married Molohan (or Holohan); Lewis Reno (1828-1910); Martha (c1828-) married John Hunter; Albert; and John Calvert (1831-1913).

 Cecilius Calvert, Jr. (1822-) last lived in Trimble County, Ky.  He married (1) Felice, in Missouri, and (2) c1856, Charlotte Reno (c1835-1905), in Kentucky.  Their nine children were Sarah A. (1857-) who married John Leap; William A. (1858-)(unm.); Eliza D. (c1862-) married George Bland; Armilda (1867-); Myrtilla (1869-) married Robert Jordan; George; Mary; Jane; and infant Calvert.  Armilda Calvert (1867-) lived in Kansas City, Mo.  She married (1) Richard H., and (2) in 1887, J. W. Brester in Gentry County, Mo.  Their son was Virgil Brester.  She married (3) Augustus Dowell.
Lewis Reno Calvert (1828-1910) married Edna Fallis (1839-1909), of Albany, Mo. and last lived in McFall, Mo.  Two daughters were Eliza Jost (1862-81) who married a McDaniel; and Amanda Calvert (1863-91) who married a Hill. 
John Calvert (1831-1913) was living in Trimble County in 1858.  He married in 1852, Gillie Corn (1825-90).  Two children were Martha (1850-99) and Levin G. Calvert (1858-).
Cecilius Calvert died August 24, 1854, in Bedford and is probably buried in Trimble County, Ky.  His wife, Penelope Reno, died March 8, 1886, and is buried in the Matkins Cemetery, Harrison County, Mo.
