Celia Tobolowsky (born around 1866 in Suwalki County and died in New York around 1892) was Jacob Donsky's first wife and probably a first cousin. They had 2 daughters together. The older one died as a young child after "eating a bad apple" (probably appendicitis) according to Evelyn Dritch. The younger daughter was Becky Donsky Lynn (1886-1971) - mother of Evelyn Dritch. Becky is buried in Tiferet Israel Cemetery in Dallas.

Becky Donsky Lynn told her daughter Evelyn Dritch that she had an older sister who died after eating a "rotten apple" so Becky's mother never let Becky eat apples. |
